Broiler Update

These birds have been on pasture for almost four weeks, after spending the first three weeks of life in our brooder. We move them to new pasture every day.

Vocabulary -

Brooder: a heated facility for housing young birds during the early stages of life.

Broiler: a chicken bred for efficient growth and intended for meat; not eggs.
