Our Process.
We raise all of our animals on pasture, moving them regularly to provide them with fresh forage and a clean environment. The manure they drop fertilizes the soil and their trampling of the vegetation leaves a decomposing layer of organic material which builds up the soil and holds moisture.
This system replicates the natural movement of wild animals throughout their environment as they seek out food and water. We use only non-genetically modified feed and don't give our animals any medications. Our animals are also remarkably happy as a result of this system.
Our Story.
For our family, what started out as raising backyard chickens for eggs, has become a passion for raising authentically natural food. Through the years our knowledge and skills have grown as we have added greater variety and quantity to our production. We have experience in growing vegetable gardens, fruit trees, ducks, meat chickens, turkeys, maple syrup and pigs. Our passion for natural farming has given us a desire to offer our community the option of authentically natural food.
